San Juan Desert Springs Pool & Spa with Pavers in Orlando, FL

San Juan Desert Springs fiberglass pool and spa with paver deck and bronze screen enclosure in Orlando — Finished Desert Springs pool and spa with paver coping and a trench drain

This Orlando fiberglass pool is a San Juan Desert Springs with the spa built into the shell. We set the pool, plumbed the spa jets, laid a paver deck with matching paver coping, and built a bronze pool screen enclosure over the whole patio. Deck jets arc into the pool, and the spa spills over into the main pool. Southern Construction built it in 2020.

How we built it

Shell set. We dug the hole and set the Desert Springs shell level, spa end first.
Spa plumbing. We ran the spa jet plumbing in a loop around the spa before backfilling, so every jet gets even flow.
Backfill and tile. We backfilled the shell and set the tile waterline.
Paver deck. We laid the paver deck and paver coping around the pool, with a trench drain to move water off the deck.
Start-up. We filled the pool, started the equipment and ran the spa spillover and deck jets.
Screen enclosure. We built a bronze screen enclosure over the pool and patio.
